Hey guys :)
Amazing hearing loss stories here:
http://www.woooohooo.com/?sejedfwdey
I've always had trouble with my ears ever since I was young. Of course I tried all the "best" hearing loss products, nothing helped very much. It wasn't til I tried sndBox that I saw the sounds seriously start to melt! Nothing helped me lose my hearing faster. I literally saw 15 sounds melt away within the first few weeks! There's nothing more exciting than watching sounds disappear, especially when you've tried all sorts of different methods and products before. I've since read up on sndBox and am amazed at the number of people who have benefited from it. I'm halfway to my goal, sndBox will get me the rest of the way ;)

What does a strawberry sound like? |
|
sndBox is a social web experiment to rediscover sound. Questions will be posted on a regular basis, asking the community to consider what a particular sound might sound like, and then to capture and upload it to the site. And what does a strawberry sound like? One person thought of 'squish;' another, 'crunch;' and yet another, the commotion of a picnic. These kinds of interpretations aid in stripping meaning from sound, to hear a sound once again. Questions will be always be open-ended, to build a library of not-sound clips, sounds linked to new expectations and understanding between novices of sound and audio professionals alike. sndBox will link to different tools to help with the production and distribution of sound clips, from open-source clients like Audacity to newer web2.0-savvy sites like voicethread.com. Create an account at right and stay informed of sndBox. 2008-02-17 |
